The leaders of Troop 128 have maintained a Scouting program designed to "Deliver the Promise" to Boys ages 11 to 17 years, by providing monthly camping and outdoor activities, and in focusing on an "Adult-Mentored / Boy-Run Program" which gives each Scout the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in leadership, skills and abilities.
We recognize that the best Scouting programs will closely follow the National BSA policies, providing a safe and fun environment for Scouts and their families. All of our adult leaders are trained in Youth Protection and in their position-specific leadership roles. Several of our Leaders have completed Wood Badge, the advanced adult training course and National BSA Training programs at the Philmont Training Center in New Mexico.
